TWAS-DFG Cooperation Visits Programme Germany 2027

The TWAS-DFG Cooperation Visits Programme is a joint initiative of The World Academy of Sciences and the German Research Foundation. It offers research fellowships of 2 to 3 months for scientists from developing countries to visit research institutions in Germany for collaborative research. This program is highly valuable for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers seeking to establish international collaborations and access Germany world-leading scientific infrastructure. Fellows are expected to conduct collaborative research with a German host scientist and contribute to publishable scientific outputs. All STEM and social science disciplines are eligible. Fellows receive a monthly stipend, travel allowance, and health insurance. Applications are accepted year-round on a rolling basis.
